Make sure you have completed them all to avoid any problems later on in the shipment process!
Firstly, we need to check a few things:
- Confirm collection address and dates
- Confirm delivery address and dates
- Check the vehicle is covered for its full value
- Alert us if the vehicle has a particularly low ground clearance
- Prepare all the necessary paperwork
Then, let’s look at your car:
- Make sure no personal belongings are in the car
- Check tyre pressure and fluid leaks
- Make sure the battery is sufficiently charged
- Make sure windows, doors, bonnet and boot are all correctly secured
Finally, tell us about any updates to your vehicle:
- Alert the transporter of anything unusual about your car, things such as mechanical problems or modifications
Then hand over the keys so we can ship your car!
