Customers will, with immediate effect, require A-1 Escort at the Baltimore, when receiving vehicles and are not Military ID card holders. The cost is $50/per hour (Please note this is only estimated cost.).

AWIS/TGAL US would not be responsible for any amount incurred for TWIC Escort Services or balance more than the $50/per hour.

Please be advised that this was introduced from the December 1, 2008, all U.S. PORT require that any person or persons without an active military I.D. entering the port must have a (TWIC) security escort.
Active military members do not require an escort, so long as they provide a military I.D.

When you take advantage of car shipping for military personnel through us, we will handle the logistics of getting your vehicle from the UK TO USA or back. You will only need to prepare the vehicle by cleaning it. The gas tank must not be more than a quarter full. From there, we will oversee your vehicle’s transport on one of the many trusted carriers with which we work. In some cases, you may be able to have your vehicle delivered directly to your final destination IN USA through our trucking service.

We’ve been a fully bonded and licensed NVOCC and freight forwarder for more than 30 years. That means we have all the necessary expertise and experience to provide military car transport services. Only Children car seat. We also suggest removing your license plates prior to shipment. For older vehicles(classics) We also suggest removal of some other items( Ask Roza or Anna)
U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (Title 49, Transportation, Carriage By Vessel, Section 176.905, Para A (2) specifically states: “The fuel tank of a motor vehicle or mechanical equipment powered by liquid fuel may not be more than one-fourth full.” If the vehicle arrives at our facility with too much fuel we may have to arrange removal which will beats additional cost.

Each country has different requirements. Please contact the local agent prior to your vehicle arriving. Their contact details will be provided to you at time of booking. For us we will advice what exactly is required prior to shipment
Generally speaking, transit times vary from 20-30 days depending on destination and vessel availability, however currently this maybe more with congestion so better to check with ANNA OR ROZA
Drop off 2nd POV at Trans Global Logistics UK Field Road Mildenhall ( same location as VPC), we can also quote for the pick up of your vehicle from your home address if you require.
The destination fees you can expect to incur are terminal charges, customs clearance, as well as a handling fee charged by the local agent. These fees vary by destination but can be provided to you prior to your shipment upon request. However through our USA offices we can give a door to door(including all charges)
The exterior of your 2nd POV does not require the same detail as VPC but must be washed and cleaned of all dirt. The interior of your vehicle must be vacuum cleaned.

We only work with quality providers to insure your vehicle is properly cared for during its sea voyage but unfortunately, no one can guarantee this. We do offer all risk Marine Insurance for peace of mind and coverage in the unlikely event your vehicle is damaged. We strongly suggest taking out Marine Insurance. Marine Insurance can be obtained through Anna or Roza. Some vehicle insurance providers already include this coverage in your policy so check with them first to see if you’re already covered.
