Importing a Vehicle from the EU to the UK

There are important procedures you must follow for UK Customs Clearance when importing a vehicle from the Europe to the United Kingdom.
Your Customs Clearance agent UK must be made aware within 14 days of the vehicle’s arrival in the United Kingdom. Your Customs Clearance agent Uk will complete an Import Customs Clearance declaration to HM Revenue and Customs. Your Customs Clearance agent UK will then advise you if there are any Taxes and Duties applicable to the import of your vehicle.
For your Customs Clearance agent UK to complete the import declaration, they will need the following documentation:
 Copy of the vehicle registration documents
 Copy of your passport
 Copy of the Bill of Sale for the vehicle
 Any Ferry details – if you drove the vehicle to the UK yourself, otherwise, if arranged through our haulier, we will arrange the Ferry.

Once the Taxes and Duties have been paid to HMRC, your Customs Clearance agent UK will provide you with a NOVA Letter from HMRC, this will allow you to register the vehicle in the United Kingdom.
