Trans Global Supports Rowing the Amazon River for Great Ormond Street Charity

Endurance Limits Team is an Adventure and Expedition Team made up of four experienced adventurers and athletes. Their next project is The Amazon River Row planned for 2024, the Endurance Limits team plan to row the entire navigable length of the Amazon River – the longest river in South America and the second longest river in the world, with a distance of approximately 4,000 miles! Their goal is to raise a donation of £50,000 for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity in London, which will provide support and resources to children in need who are being treated at the facility.
Why the Amazon River?
The team has chosen the Amazon River as their expedition route because it is one of the most challenging and remote environments in the world, and they hope to inspire others to push their limits and pursue their dreams, no matter how daunting the task may seem. The Endurance Limits Team will start their journey in Iquitos, Peru, go through the tip of Columbia and across Brazil, finishing when they arrive at the Atlantic Ocean in September 2024.#
To make this expedition a reality, Endurance Limits Team has partnered with us – Trans Global Logistics UK Ltd, as their logistics company. Our team of Customer Service Agents specializes in complex transportation and delivery projects both locally and internationally. Trans Global will provide the team with logistical support, including the transportation of their custom-built rowboat and all necessary equipment to the start of the expedition and the pick-up of the team and their gear at the end of the journey.
The team will likely face many challenges during their expedition, including dangerous wildlife, extreme weather conditions, and treacherous currents. They will have to navigate around sandbanks, rapids, and waterfalls, as well as negotiate with local communities and authorities along the way.
Despite the obstacles, Endurance Limits Team is determined to complete their mission in 28 days beating the current Guinness Record (35 days) at the end of September 2024 and make a positive impact on the lives of children in need. To accomplish the new record the team must row 24 hours a day, all 4 members of the team are expected to swap places to keep the pace up.
